During this 6th matchmaking day the EOA consortium offers the Defence and Security industry players the opportunity to meet and discuss opportunities in relation to the European Defence Fund (EDF). 

HOW? This agenda of the day will be twofold.

WHEN?
In the morning, at 11.00 CET:

EOA partners organize a webinar "Do's and Don'ts when writing your EDF 2026 proposal". During the information session, you will be able to gain insights on the changes within EDF due to the adoption of the omnibus, the most common mistakes in proposal writing and checklist before submitting, as well as other EDF-related funding and support instruments.

In the afternoon from 13.00 to 18.00 CET
Matchmaking afternoon sessions take place on this platform on April 10th 2026 from 13.00 to 18.00 CET.

Meetings planification is open until April 10th 2026 at 12:30 CET.

FOR WHO?
Both webinar and matchmaking sessions are open to anyone interested in and eligible to apply for EDF calls for proposals, to search for partners with specific knowledge or solutions, to join consortia or start making new ideas emerge out of their meetings.

How to register to access online meetings?

You registered for a previous event in 2024, 2025 or 2026:
Please register with the same email address. You will be able to retrieve your profile and related information, clicking on the "IMPORT" button after defining your password for this edition (yellow banner, page 2/4).

You did not register for a previous event in 2024, 2025 or 2026:
Please follow the traditional registration process.

Once registered and having specified your topics of interest you will be able to access the full list of participants and to request meetings with them. A filter system will allow you to go from one sector to another to best target your future partners. You can easily set up your availabilities to be able to send and receive request meetings with and from other participants.

On D-Day, reminders will be sent to you per email with a link to connect and attend your meetings.

The EDF is a European programme for cutting edge defence and development, which spans from 2021 until 2027.
With this program the European Commission aims to:
- Improve cooperation between companies, including SMEs and research actors throughout the Union and increase interoperability between Member States’ capabilities;
- Boost defence capability developments within the EU; and
- Strengthen the defence technological and industrial base within the EU.

The EDF offers  financial support at all stages: starting with research and ending with the development of prototypes and certification.
