All about the matchmaking process
During this 1st matchmaking day the EOA consortium offers the Defence and security industry the opportunity to meet and discuss opportunities in relation to the European Defence Fund.
When?
The event takes place online on this platform on October 24th 2024 from 13.00 to 18.00 CET.
Schedule planification is open until October 23rd, 2024.
Organizations profiles will be added on an ongoing basis, right up to October 22, 2024.
For who?
The event is open to anyone interested in and eligible to apply for EDF calls for proposals, to search for partners with specific knowledge or solutions, to join consortia or start making new ideas emerge out of its meetings.
How?
Please register on this MatchMaking Platform below on the left hand side.
Once registered and having specified your topics of interest you will be able, within 24h, to have access to the full list of participants and to request meetings with them.
A filter system will allow you to go from one sector to another to best target your future partners.
You can easily set up your availabilities to be able to send and receive request meetings with and from other participants.
On D-Day, reminders will be sent to you per email with a link to connect and attend your meetings.

About the European Defence Fund (EDF) and the EOA project:
The EDF is a European programme for cutting edge defence and development, which spans from 2021 until 2027.
With this program the European Commission aims to:
- Improve cooperation between companies, including SMEs and research actors throughout the Union and increase interoperability between Member States’ capabilities;
- Boost defence capability developments within the EU; and
- Strengthen the defence technological and industrial base within the EU.
The EDF offers financial support at all stages: starting with research and ending with the development of prototypes and certification.
“Enhancing Opportunities for All” (EOA) is a project funded by the European Defence Fund with two main target groups: enhancing skills network and tools for National Focal Points (NFPs) and supporting possible applicants for EDF projects to engage in consortia.
2 online matchmaking days per year will be organized.
